- ➤ West Virginia’s graduation rate reached 92.8% for the latest class as efforts to cut chronic absenteeism took hold; local schools improved transport and vision services + other supports to help students attend regularly. - ➤ WVU is offering flexibility for students and employees during finals week due to heavy winter weather. Exams will begin at 8 a.m. today — students who cannot safely reach campus should contact their instructors for alternate arrangements. WVU Today

- ➤ Student government leaders are urging lawmakers to restore voting rights removed earlier this year + they argue the change would empower student, faculty, and staff voices on campus issues as the report presented Friday may push action when legislators reconvene January 14. MetroNews

- ➤ Oklahoma State defeated WVU 34-3 at Hope Coliseum Sunday—injuries forced starters out with freshman Gunner Andrick earning WVU's only win, 4-2. Coach Tim Flynn said the match helped gauge the team’s readiness ahead of their Jan. 9 dual against Arizona State. The Dominion Post
- ➤ West Virginia (8-4) lost 89-88 in double overtime at Rocket Arena on Saturday, Dec. 14 after squandering a 16-point lead as Ohio State sealed the win. Coach Ross Hodge said the team missed key stops that cost them the winning chance. MetroNews
