- ➤ On Sunday, more than 400 people ran the Run Santa Run 5K outside Rosenbaum Family House in Morgantown, racing around Milan Puskar Stadium to raise funds for the center’s care programs. The event raised over $35,000 to support adults and their families during treatment. WDTV
- ➤ Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia got a $50,000 donation from Betty R. Lynch’s estate through Your Community Foundation to help build a new 6,700 sqft no-kill animal shelter, & fundraising continues toward a $2 million goal with construction starting when $1.5 million is raised. - ➤ The Preston County Economic Development Authority purchased the former Spirit Energy site in Hazelton for future manufacturing development using nearly $4 million from the AMLER program for infrastructure upgrades.
