  • George Yanchak, director of the West Virginia University Hub in Morgantown, reflected on 10 years of supporting students—since the center opened in November 2015. He said he continues to guide students with a clear plan for future success.  WV News

  • Mon Health remains committed to building a new Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Lewis County after the state Supreme Court ruled the project must secure a Certificate of Need—Goldberg said the $56 million facility will replace the outdated 1972 hospital to meet modern care standards—and the team will follow the necessary steps to support future local healthcare needs.  MetroNews

  • Clay-Battelle High advanced to the state semifinals after defeating Wirt County 46-14 on Saturday at The Joe and Louie Statler Athletic Complex—rushing for 355 yards and creating four turnovers, the Cee-Bees will host No. 7 Cameron in the semis.
