- ➤ WVU Parking Management now offers front vanity plates to help drivers keep a visible plate in University parking lots—plates can be purchased for $20 at Mountaineer Station from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. For a limited time, drivers can get a free vanity plate by donating 10 nonperishable food items to the Food for Fines drive running Dec 1-10—full enforcement and citations will resume Jan. 1. - ➤ Patrick Miller will start as director of the Washington Center for Civics, Culture and Statesmanship on Jan. 1 and earn a $300,000 salary from a $1.5 million state-funded budget, with benefits including a 10% annual increase and performance bonus; he will also serve as a tenured professor in the philosophy department.
