- ➤ Retro Reload is a new store for old video games that will open in Morgantown soon with a pay-to-play system across more than 30 systems including virtual reality — owners Susan Haynes and Danielle Ludwig plan to host game contests and rent tables for group play. - ➤ The WVU School of Theatre and Dance presents 'Amour,' a light musical about a clerk who gains the power to walk through walls and help those in need, which premieres today at the Gladys G. Davis Theatre at the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. It will have a second performance tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and return for a five-show run in December — with four evenings at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on December 7 at 2 p.m. West Virginia University

- ➤ Mon Schools will hold a drive-through food distribution on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the district’s central office on Earl Core Road in Sabraton to offer USDA family meal packs to students’ families before Thanksgiving. The meal pack includes one 24-ounce can of beef, one 50-ounce can of chicken, one 5-pound container of peanut butter, and one can each of 110-ounce peaches and peas (designed to support families facing food insecurity). - ➤ Monongalia County Schools were named the best school district in West Virginia by Niche, which used test scores and graduation rates to rank schools. - ➤ Two 86-foot sections of the new White Park bridge were set in place Wednesday over Cobun Creek, creating a 172-foot span that will open 20 acres for new trails and public use.
