- ➤ Today, hundreds of students gathered outside WVU's Engineering Sciences Building for the 36th annual pumpkin drop (pumpkins dropped 11 stories) where cheers filled the air and engineering skills were put to the test. WV News
- ➤ League of Women Voters West Virginia filed a legal brief to ask the state Supreme Court to review House Bill 2755—arguing that voters rejected giving the Legislature power over education rules in 2022. - ➤ Anthony Vessecchia scored all three goals in the first half to lead Morgantown High to a 3-0 win over Hedgesville at Pony Lewis Field, sending the team to the Class AAAA state tournament next week in Beckley (their best chance for a state title since 2021).
