  • Hoot and Howl hosted a fundraiser today for the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia where locals made wildlife-themed cards and met wild birds—Executive Director Katie Fallon said the event aimed to connect people and wildlife. The nonprofit will host its owlween event next week to further engage the community.  WDTV
  • Ike Iverson — a proud United States Marine Corps veteran — will celebrate his 100th birthday on Dec. 5, and the Liberty Hill community is invited to join the celebration.  WV News
  • A charity walk to fight Alzheimer’s will be held at Mountaineer Mall. Organizers hope to raise funds and awareness—inviting local residents to support the cause.  WDTV

  • During today’s game, WVU’s defense gave up two long touchdown passes—one for 40 yards and one for 34 yards—leaving them in a 14-0 hole early, as UCF exploited open coverage.
