- ➤ On September 21, WVU Hospitality Group won the Most Creative Dish and Best Savory Dish awards at the Taste of Morgantown event held at Mylan Park. The chefs served a roasted venison loin bisteka with ramp chimichurri sauce and local ingredients — a dish that earned these top honors. West Virginia University

- ➤ Five WVU students and alumni have been named Fulbright Scholarship recipients — they will teach English or conduct research abroad over the next year. WV News
- ➤ WVU’s Personal Rapid Transit system celebrates 50 years of service, carrying over 1,521,638 rides each year since 1975. - ➤ The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Gold and Blue Enterprises announced a 10-year partnership with Hope Gas that will rename the WVU Coliseum to Hope Coliseum, the first renaming in its 55-year history—bringing new revenue and securing the arena’s role as a multi-purpose venue for sports and events.
