- ➤ West Virginia pulled a 10-point comeback in the Backyard Brawl when quarterback Nicco Marchiol, coming off the bench, tied the game with 11 seconds left and later led a drive ending in a winning touchdown—coach Rich Rodriguez praised his timely play.
