  • The Appalachian American Indians of West Virginia held their first pow-wow since 2020 over the weekend at Camp Mountaineer in Morgantown. The event was free for all and featured local vendors trading crafts—dancers and drummers shared traditional music and dance.  WDTV

  • Morgantown’s SafeStreets program has returned with WVU students joining volunteer officers to boost patrol coverage as the city faces increased population and heavy vehicle traffic (the initiative aims to address quality of life issues like litter and nuisance behavior while adjusting patrol hours based on public tips).  MetroNews
