Young Eagles Day returned to Morgantown Municipal Airport, where volunteer pilots offered free flights + collected donations for flood relief; kids experienced aviation for the first time while learning about aircraft and community pride.
CASA for Kids held a community goose chase at Granville Park where teams used the GooseChase app to complete tasks and enjoyed a barbecue lunch+activities in Morgantown.

Miss West Virginia Elizabeth Romanek and Miss West Virginia’s Teen Zoe Little will represent the state at the national Miss America competitions in Orlando, Florida, starting Sept.

Morgantown’s MHS football team won 33-9 against Parkersburg on Friday night at Stadium Field + star junior Maddox Twigg’s hamstring injury kept him off the field in the second half + coach Sean Biser earned his 200th win after key halftime adjustments.
The University and Musselman teams played a week 1 game that showcased standout plays and sportsmanship, energizing community fans + marking an exciting start to the local season.
West Virginia University baseball players visited Meadowbrook Mall Saturday to meet fans and sign autographs after the team's first trip to the Men's College World Series in Omaha, showcasing strong local support.
