  • The West Virginia Department of Human Services and Bureau for Family Assistance will begin accepting school clothing allowance applications on Monday for eligible children enrolled in state schools—families must meet income limits to receive a $200 benefit via an EBT card or check for foster care guardians.  WDTV

HEALTH NEWS

  • During March Madness, the NCAA launched its 'Don’t Be a Loser' campaign and a study found a 23% drop in abuse even as online gambling grew among young people. Experts Jeffrey Derevensky & Kathleen Servian warn that constant betting on plays and early exposure to sports apps may spur risky gambling behavior and call for more education to protect youth.  West Virginia Public Broadcasting
