- ➤ Residents across West Virginia and visitors will be able to fish on public waterways without paying a license fee during Free Fishing Days on June 7—8. WV News
- ➤ The United Mine Workers of America celebrated the General Services Administration’s decision to reverse plans for closing more than 30 Mine Safety and Health Administration field offices (critical for prompt inspections) amid concerns that longer travel times would delay emergency responses (a key safety issue for miners). - ➤ Eligible seniors can now receive free vouchers for locally grown produce through the annual Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program run by the Department of Agriculture.
