- ➤ West Virginia State Parks has opened an expanded section of the McCollum Campground at Coopers Rock State Forest ahead of Memorial Day weekend—providing more space and amenities for campers. The new area will let visitors have a better camping experience this holiday. WV News

- ➤ USA Today named Morgantown's Ruby Summer Concert Series as one of the best free series in the country — the event ranked No. 3 on the Best Outdoor Concert Series list. The series runs every Friday night during the summer along the Monongahela River at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park Amphitheater and will feature local and legendary musicians. WDTV
