  • Jamie Miller, the new Morgantown City Manager, will begin work on June 23 after serving in Paris, Kentucky; she has already made an offer on a local home and aims to work with the city council, staff and first responders + address issues like the camping ban with fairness. Her experience in finance, human resources and operations will help improve the city’s services and growth.  MetroNews

  • On Sunday, Kansas State beat West Virginia 14-9 at Tointon Family Stadium when Seth Dardar’s grand slam sparked a seven-run eighth inning that halted the Mountaineers’ Big 12 title bid.
