  • Hazel’s House of Hope will launch a new child-focused Bright Space with controlled entry and creative play areas backed by the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. A community yard sale to support the project is planned for May 30 at the Bright Horizons Center (201 Laurel St.), where families can help fund the initiative.  The Dominion Post

  • North Central West Virginia Girls on the Run held a 5K at Hope Coliseum in Morgantown that drew over a thousand runners despite rainy skies. The event celebrated the season's end — a milestone that united the community around the girls' hard work.  WDTV
  • WVU's physics and astronomy department demoed models of the solar system and explained electromagnetism today on campus as part of Remake Learning Days. Graduate students taught children and families about space while more events are set for north central West Virginia in the coming week.  WDTV
