- ➤ The West Virginia Botanic Garden in Morgantown is hosting its 25th anniversary celebration at its annual Botanic Garden Day today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—the event will include music, tours, and family fun. WV News

- ➤ Niterra, which has made NGK spark plugs and NTK oxygen sensors in West Virginia since 1994, celebrated its 30 year anniversary on Friday by opening a new 75,000 square foot distribution center in Sissonville that will add about 30 jobs to its 500 full-time staff. West Virginia and Japanese officials joined the event and the facility will serve customers from Florida to New York using advanced robotics—plans for a solar energy system are underway. MetroNews

- ➤ A 43-year-old Morgantown woman pleaded guilty to four federal gun-related charges—federal authorities confirmed her plea in a single proceeding. WV News

- ➤ Today, Governor Morrisey issued guidance that directs public schools to process religious vaccine exemption requests on a school year basis and urges private and parochial schools to respect these exemptions—parents must send a signed letter to a government email account. - ➤ Morgantown won the Class AAAA Region I, Section 1 championship with a 2 to 0 win over John Marshall at Mylan Park as junior Madison Wisman tossed a two-hitter and struck out nine batters in a strong outing.
