- ➤ West Virginia men’s hoops add transfer forward Seydou Traore following his official visit to Morgantown to bolster the 13-player roster ahead of the 2026-27 season. - ➤ Morgantown High's baseball team won the OVAC Class 5A title with a 4 to 1 victory over Steubenville at Mazeroski Field on Friday, May 1. The win marked their third straight championship plus pitcher Slade Barton was named MVP for his standout performance. The Dominion Post
- ➤ West Virginia's baseball team won 9-1 against Kansas State today at Granville as Chansen Cole pitched a complete game in Game 2 and will aim for a sweep when Game 3 starts at 1 p.m. The Dominion Post
- ➤ Morgantown High boys’ lacrosse beat University High 17-6 Friday night at Pony Lewis Field to complete a perfect 14-0 season and secure the top seed in the WVSLA playoffs; they will host Fairmont Senior on Wednesday night. The Dominion Post
