- ➤ Due to maintenance at the Engineering PRT station this summer, the Evansdale Crossing pedestrian walkway will close beginning May 11; pedestrians should exit through the first floor entrance and use sidewalks along Morrill Way + Fine Arts Drive. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ An electrical arc issue at the PRT near Beechurst station forced several students to evacuate via a back window Thursday afternoon, leaving one student with minor injuries; transit service between Beechurst and Engineering stations remains suspended until further checks are completed. - ➤ On Thursday afternoon, a WVU PRT car near Beechurst Station had an electrical arc issue & officials evacuated six people, one of whom was treated for minor injuries, while service was expected to resume by day's end. MetroNews
