- ➤ Stephane Collignon, an associate professor and coordinator for the online Master of Science in applied AI and data analytics, is the April Faculty Feature to spotlight his work in launching a cutting-edge curriculum and planning the Big XII (MIS) Research Symposium at WVU next year. - ➤ A five-member team from Morgantown High School won first place at the 2026 WV Envirothon competition last week at Camp Caesar in Webster County. WV News
- ➤ Bingyun Li has been named the recipient of the 2026 Faculty Award for Distinction in Graduate Research Mentoring and will receive a $2,500 honorarium at the Faculty and Staff Awards Celebration in late April (recognizing his 21-year record of mentoring 132 trainees). West Virginia University

- ➤ The American Lung Association released its 27th State of the Air report Wednesday showing West Virginia counties fared well, with Charleston-Huntington earning As and Morgantown and Wheeling receiving passing grades for ozone and particle pollution.
