- ➤ The Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center will host its annual Walking with Survivors event on April 18 at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion on Spruce Street. - ➤ FirstEnergy has begun permitting a 1,200-MW natural gas plant set to operate in 2031 at the Fort Martin Power Station site in northern Monongalia County. The project is expected to create 2,200 jobs and generate over $85 million in tax revenue to meet growing power needs. MetroNews

- ➤ Morgantown accepted an $87,440 bid from Veritas Contracting to restore the historic Easton Roller Mill at 54 Easton Mill Road with a new deck, ADA ramp, parking and sidewalk. The project is set to finish by mid-June with full grant funding & AmeriCorps support. The Dominion Post
