EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ West Virginia University will hold its 8th Day of Giving tomorrow, March 26, with hourly and all-day challenges that let donors boost their gifts — the 24‑hour event will support student programs and campus improvements. - ➤ Collegiate Recovery moved its program, Serenity Place, to Maple House in downtown campus — next to the Mountainlair at 724 College Ave — and will keep substance-free hours at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays. West Virginia University
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, WVDOH work crews are milling and filling potholes across the state thanks to the warm weather—this allows them to repair roads in several areas. The crews will complete the work soon to make travel safer for many local drivers. WV News
- ➤ The Morgantown Utility Board closed a stretch of North High Street from Prospect Street to Maiden Lane on March 24 and will keep it closed until April 9 for construction work—drivers must use the College Avenue access for the Mountainlair garage and a detour via University Avenue to navigate the changes.
