- ➤ West Virginia lawmakers are moving forward with a statewide camping ban—Morgantown residents already face local camping restrictions and may see more changes as the April election approaches. WV News
- ➤ Hope Gas is pursuing 23 condemnation suits in court for rights of way to build its 30-mile Connector pipeline that will boost Morgantown's natural gas supply. Local landowners, including the Kernses, the Sixes and Marion Tennant, say they are upset over low offers — they worry about losing long-held property rights and access — and plan to contest the move. - ➤ Senior JJ Quinerly scored 27 points as WVU Women’s Basketball defeated Columbia 78-59 on Saturday. The Mountaineers will face the winner of the Oregon State — North Carolina game in the second round on Monday in Chapel Hill. WDTV
