- ➤ AEP has named Brian Abraham as Appalachian Power’s new president and COO—starting April 13. A former chief of staff for Senator Jim Justice and Army veteran, Abraham will lead nearly 2,900 employees in West Virginia, Virginia and Tennessee to strengthen key stakeholder partnerships. MetroNews

- ➤ Governor Morrisey signed House Bill 4087 today to launch the West Virginia—Ireland Education Alliance, which will expand academic ties between local colleges and institutions in Ireland and allow selected partners to be eligible for a grant up to $50,000 pending appropriations. WDTV
