- ➤ The Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society brought back the Mountaineer Train Show at Mountaineer Mall on Sunday after a 30-year break. Vendors sold model train parts & shared railroad safety tips with visitors at the event. WDTV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Pitcher Maxx Yehl struck out 12 batters and threw eight innings as WVU won 8-0 over Baylor on Monday, March 16. The Mountaineers will host Penn State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in a midweek series as they build on a strong conference start. The Dominion Post
- ➤ WVU Women’s basketball is set to face Miami (OH) in the first round of the NCAA tournament soon. The game will be a pivotal test for the team as they start the season. WDTV
- ➤ The 12th-ranked WVU women's basketball team earned a Big 12 automatic berth and will host Miami (Ohio) in the NCAA tournament's first round Saturday at Hope Coliseum.
