  • West Virginia women’s basketball beat Colorado 48-47 in a close semifinal game on Saturday and will face TCU at 5 p.m. on Sunday for the Big 12 Tournament Championship (Jordan Harrison led with a key steal).  WDTV
  • Brodie Kresser delivered his first walk-off grand slam to lift WVU 9-5 in 10 innings against Columbia on March 7, ending a two-game losing streak. The Mountaineers will play the rubber game today at 12:30 p.m. (held at Wagener Field/Kendrick Family Ballpark).  MetroNews
  • Glenville State beat Fairmont State 83-74 in the MEC women's semifinal at WesBanco Arena and will face Charleston at 1 p.m. today in the championship game — West Liberty won a double-overtime contest 105-100 to advance to the men's final.  MetroNews
  • No. 7 West Virginia’s men’s basketball team will face the winner from the BYU-Kansas State game in the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.  MetroNews
  • WVU football secures a commitment from defensive lineman DaJour Webb for the class of 2027 after he announced his decision on social media, choosing the Mountaineers over offers from Kent State and Akron. The 6 ft 3 in Pittsburgh native recorded 40 tackles + 4.5 sacks last season.  The Dominion Post
