- ➤ West Virginia women’s basketball beat Colorado 48-47 in a close semifinal game on Saturday and will face TCU at 5 p.m. on Sunday for the Big 12 Tournament Championship (Jordan Harrison led with a key steal). WDTV
- ➤ Brodie Kresser delivered his first walk-off grand slam to lift WVU 9-5 in 10 innings against Columbia on March 7, ending a two-game losing streak. The Mountaineers will play the rubber game today at 12:30 p.m. (held at Wagener Field/Kendrick Family Ballpark). MetroNews
