- ➤ Fourteen students have been named as the new Presidential Student Ambassadors for Fall 2026 at WVU. They were chosen by faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds and represent seven colleges and four states. West Virginia University
- ➤ Tomorrow, March 4, Gabe Schwartzman, an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, will lead a talk on power, just transition and community-engaged research in Appalachia from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Zoom or inside Brooks Hall (Room 309). West Virginia University
- ➤ Two WVU Esports graduate assistants visited South Middle School Monday to share career opportunities and explain the university’s student-driven esports program — highlighting roles in competitive gaming and broadcasting — through the K-12 Speakers Bureau. WDTV
- ➤ West Virginia has made all K-12 students eligible for the Hope Scholarship, allowing nonpublic and homeschool students to apply today. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are open until June 15, and Treasurer Pack will host a press conference at the state capitol to mark the program’s expansion + increased funding concerns. - ➤ West Virginia collected $379 million in February revenue, exceeding estimates by $50 million and nearly 7% above last year, Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced Monday.
