- ➤ The Leading, Innovating, Networking, Knowing Conference is scheduled for March 10 (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) at the Mountainlair Ballroom (with keynote speaker Melanie Ho) and will spark leadership, innovation and meaningful connections among professionals. West Virginia University
- ➤ State lawmakers are considering capping the Hope Scholarship at $5,000 per student while State Treasurer Larry Pack warns the change could unsettle nearly 25,000 families — applications for this school year are due by Feb. 28 and next-year enrollment starts Mar. 2. WDTV
