  • Monongahela Power Co. & The Potomac Edison Co. filed an application on Friday with the Public Service Commission seeking approval to build a 1,200-megawatt natural gas and solar project valued at $2.84 billion in West Virginia.  WV News

SPORTS NEWS

  • TCU beat WVU 59 to 50 on Sunday at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth as TCU built a 20 to 2 run in the third quarter to secure the win. WVU now prepares to host Oklahoma State as it seeks to regain top position in the Big 12 + the season remains highly competitive.  The Dominion Post
  • WVU pass rusher specialist Larry Knight joined on Jan. 12 and 34 days later may leave if Georgia hires him as its new outside linebacker coach — he was hired to succeed retired coach Jeff Casteel and fill Chidera Uzo-Diribe’s role after his move to the Cowboys.  The Dominion Post
